Christina is a Ukrainian mail-order bride seemingly happily married to Michael, her Israeli husband of four years. She works at a nail salon while awaiting Israeli citizenship. When Michael, now a newly-minted marriage broker, arranges an Israeli match for her beloved sister Valeria, Christina is overjoyed. But Valeria is apprehensive at the prospect of spending the rest of her life with Eitan, an Israeli she’s met only twice on Skype. Her apprehension only grows at a first lunch with her overly-eager betrothed; Eitan is not the man she’d hoped to find. Unfolding over the course of a day, this film tests the contours of identity, obligation, and the expectations we inevitably attach to love.
