Description

In May Grosman’s award-winning animated short, “Nool,” a young Black Macaque new to caged life, finds her world shattered in an Israeli zoo. What she first thinks are fireworks dancing in the sky turn out to be something else entirely. When Nool slips out of her cage for a closer look, the human war hits too close to home and, in a fateful moment, her life changes forever. “Nool” is May’s thesis film from The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Based on a True Event.
