Synopsis:
Rudolf Hoss (Christian Friedel, The White Ribbon) is the commandant of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Along with his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller, Anatomy of a Fall) and their children, Rudolf wants to build the perfect home for his family. Even though the commandant and his family live directly next to the concentration camp, they create a sanctuary of domestic bliss amid the atrocities happening in the camp next door. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jonathan Glazer (Under the Skin, Birth).
